PADI 5-Star Facility
We are so very proud to announce our accomplishment of becoming a PADI 5-Star facility. We are the only PADI Dive Center in the tri-state and the only PADI 5-star in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana!!
What does a 5-Star Rating mean? To attain the 5 star rating, a PADI Dive Center has to attain and maintain exceptional standards in the dive industry. Areas of review include but are not limited to, customer service, instruction program, community involvement, service department, rental department, youth programs, instruction staff/credentials, store appearance, store environment-friendly staff, courteous, helpful. PADI does not hand this title to just any dive center. You have to want it and you have to earn it!! And we did!!!
While attaining this wonderful achievement is a huge feather in our cap, please rest assured that Blue Meridian will continue to be a dive center of not only quality instruction, quality equipment, quality service but we will continue to provide our customers, our dive buddies, our friends with the highest level of expertise in the area in the friendly, comfortable environment you have come to expect from us.
We love to dive and now it show's more than ever!!!
Enriched Air Nitrox

Want to find out what the big to-do is all about? Join us and get the information you need to not only dive using Nitrox but to actually understand the benefits and cautions of it's use. We don't leave you guessing....we give you details, facts and and experienced instructor to help you down the Nitrox path!!
Must pre-register for the class by January 28th.
Equipment Specialist
Saturday February 4th 2:00pm
Want a little help understanding the basics of your gear. This class will definitely help you with basic maintenance and care of your gear in addition to taking some of the mystery out of gear and the problems that can occur. This is a hands-on, take it apart, put it back together, fix it workshop. Everybody participates and there are never any stupid questions. It's all about you getting more familiar with your gear....now what better class is there than that for any and all certified divers.
Must pre-register by Wednesday February 1st.
Discover Sidemount Day!!
Interested in sidemount diving but not sure if it's for you? Join us Saturday February 11 from 2-4 at the Owensboro YMCA for a Discover Sidemount experience. This is a free to you and it will definitely open your mind to the possibility of freedom in diving!!
You must pre-register as space is limited so call today and reserved your spot and join the sidemount crew!
Each participant will receive a valuable coupon toward a sidemount certification just for coming out and giving it a try! What have you got to lose???? NOTHING!!!

Try a Drysuit!!
Sign up today for our Drysuit Specialty course. Learn all you need to know about care, maintenance and use of a drysuit! Practice in the comfort of a pool and then the final step...jump into your open water dives and experience cold water the way it was meant to be!!
Bring your drysuit to class or we have drysuits in rental that are available first come first served. So don't wait to long to get you name in the pot! You must pre-register for this class!

Bonne Terre Mines Trip
In an effort to accommodate some conflicts with divers schedules we have re-scheduled our adventure to Bonne Terre Mines in Missouri.
We are planning to head over the weekend of February 25th & 26th.
There has been a small increase in the cost. It is now $70 per dive and you must guarantee them 2 dives. We typically try to do 3 or 4 depending on your comfort level but you can do as many as you like at or above 2 dives.
Rental for weights has increased slightly to $15 for 1 day or $25 for 2 plus tax. We still say this is the best money you will ever spend as you do not have to take the weights down or more importantly take them out when you leave.
We can make a group reservation but your spot will not be held until payment in full is received. We are expecting both new divers and experience to be going so everyone will have a buddy...no problem!!

Baby Update
Just wanted to give a quick update on little Briley Langdon, her Mom is our good friend and diver LaTonya. She is home and doing wonderful! Mommy sent us another picture that shows the little pixie for the sweetie she is!!

Scout troops from Evansville & Owensboro, college students and law enforcement officers from Bowling Green and Tell City and families and singles from all over pick Blue Meridian for their training facility!
Why? Because they know Blue Meridian has the tri-states most experienced and professional instruction staff. Others boast of their experience and their certification numbers...but the years of professional experience we have on our staff are out of their league. We are very particular about who works with our students. You will find "cookie cutter" instruction staff at other facilities...you will even find instruction staff that publicly announce they saved their skin at the potential cost of a dive buddy...what if it was a student??? We take diving and your safety more serious than that. You won't read from one of our staff how they let a student, a dive buddy or a stranger go in order to save themselves. You are our priority! We are here for your enjoyment, your safety and your peace of mind! Every class we offer is an opportunity for you to get the best training the tri-state has to offer.
We value each customer that comes through our door. We understand that with the economy in a strain, you have to make important choices on where you spend your hard earned money and we appreciate the opportunity to give you the best value for your dollar. Please do some homework....compare prices...there is a definite difference and unfortunately there is no added benefit for you paying almost double at other locations. A business has to make money to survive....on that we agree....gouging our customers to do it....not at Blue Meridian!
