Our first donation for 2010 goes to Team Karlie!!  We have purchased 2 of the strollers pictured above so that Team Karlie can add 2 more racers to their team.  Thank you so much for the support you have given to the Scuba for Charity Foundation this year!  Can you see how your bubbles are making a difference?????

Dream Riders of Kentucky

We truly believe this program to be one of the most incredible in our area.  The work that is done for children and adults alike with the equestrian program is wonderful!  We are proud to support them again this year!!


American Diabetes Association

Our dear friend and dive buddy Dr. Terry Alvey of Evansville, along with his family, are participating in a 5K run for the ADA.  We are proud to help this deserving organization fight a terrible disease!

 


American Cancer Society

Relay for Life

This donation went to the Hawesville chapter of the Relay for Life.  They are a very active group in the fight to find a cure for cancer.  We are proud to help them in that goal!!


Hospice of Western Kentucky

We have donated to Hospice since we began the charity organization.  The service they provide in the twilight of one's life is phenomenal.  We are proud to offer our support to an organization that quietly goes about their service of bringing comfort to the families in Western Kentucky!


Humane Society-NK Shelter

Special Olympics offers an opportunity for those dealing with physical and mental handicaps to participate in sporting events. These events not only encourage physical activity but they provide a sense of accomplishment to each and every athlete that participates. 


Salvation Army Angel Tree

The Salvation Army - Angel Tree Project has been a benefactor of ours for several years.  We take little angels from the salvation army and purchase clothing for them at Christmas time.  Our kiddos range in age from 7 to 3 and we have a mix of boys and girls.  

 

 

 


St. Benedict's Homeless Shelter

We were able to donate Christmas packages to each of the 35 persons currently at the shelter.  Each were given a travel coffee mug and personal hygiene items.  We also purchased 3 cases of bottled water and coffee for the shelter.  The gifts were given out at the annual Christmas Eve Breakfast.


St. Joseph's Peace Mission

We were able to purchase clothing and gifts for 6 kids living at this facility.  4 were older teens and we were informed they would only get the gifts that we gave them.  A young mother and her toddler were the other 2 in need.
